Joel,
Thank you for the great description of company growth and your objective analysis of CEO transition. I think one note to add is that the great companies (almost to a tee) have the founder become a key contributor and partner with the new CEO to ensure the success (look at google with the two founders or many, many other examples). I plan to be a key supporter to Ted and one of his most powerful contributors to help make this company great. He now rounds out my new executive team to help us migrate to #3 on your list and I am blessed to have such a great team help us change the way wine is bought and sold in the US.

I love commenting different articles and information. To be honest with you, it’s my hobby. And, by the way commenting different stuff on this web site is one of my favorite things to do in free time. I like to express my mind, and when I realize that I’m wrong, I correct my mistakes. Thank you for a possibility to express myself! I really enjoy it!

For me it, when making a purchase decision, it is a constant battle to find objective information to help in making that decision. Like most consumers I have learned to ignore commercials, ads, and routinely question objectivity. Online it is the same. It is not hard to figure out and easier to ignore...except when it pops up and obscures what you are trying to read. If I sense it is "marketing" I reject it. It's like I am always fleeing the marketer in search of something real. But wherever that journey takes me; it's sure to be the next place the marketer shows up.

I didn't even know there was a wine 2.0 group on Facebook. I was too busy throwing sheep at and buying drinks for friends. I enjoy my Facebook time but don't think of it as a place where I go to be serious about anything (hence my policy on not friending current co-workers). Perhaps the group could migrate to OWC, which I think would eliminate the less serious.
